[Serpentine Shel Serpentine]

Hello: Since there is a Supply Cache event and people will be getting a lot more Supple Caches than usual, I was wondering if anyone has EVER gotten a whole mech or some other extremely rare or valuable item from a Supple Cache. For this unscientific poll please list the 2-3 most valuable Supple Cache items you have ever received. I am wondering if there is any real chance of getting a mech from these caches.
For me it was a Gauss Rifle and an AC 20.

I once got a rare, but no mech. But you should not open such boxes in any game hoping to get the best item. The chances for this are less than 1%.

But i got a LOT other useful stuff like Mechbays and expensive engines...

got a light mech once, some mechbays, keys, some hundreds MC and if you get the key for free...well if you draw out one of the bigger weapons their value is larger than if you sell the box itself.

And a metric crap ton of useless stuff.

I had a bunch of "rare" items (the orange-coded ones), specifically 'Mech Bays, 250+ amounts of , a couple of Decals and Cockpit items, but not yet a "very-rare" (yellow-coded). A whole truckload of "common", as should be.

All in all I think I have opened around 150ish Supply Caches since they dropped, and apart from the three stinging times I got a single IS Flamer (I remember them because they hurt ... always was in a cache with 2 yellow picks too), I am satisfied of the overal result.

No idead about your name and tag though, and I'm old enough to be classified as a Living Fossil ...

So far aside from the Spider I think 2 * 1000MC is the best result. I once thought I won an Atlas but it turned out to be an Atlas decal .. they forgot to mention the decal part. I spent some time trying to get that mech from customer service.

Srsly tho, kids ain't gonna be interested in anything not on YouTube or longer than 120 characters/seconds in duration - who the heck cares about Peter Falk anyway

After opening about bout 100 caches, best would be modules, engines, mech bays, and maybe 250 MC a few times.... and I think it's a movie quote from that Colombo guy?


-Update, with the sixty caches from this event, i got a Cauldron Born, to bad it's a duplicate, maybe it can be used in faction warfare...

Yes and thanks for responding. The name and tag line are movie quotes from Peter Falk. I am still
curious whether anyone knows the movie's name without googling it. I'm surprised even some old timers here didn't know it .. but I guess it's sort of an almost cult classic. (It was remade, but the remake was terrible because the film really depends on the two actors in the original.)

The disco ball guy seems to know the movie, which is appropriate since it's the same era. Glad to hear you even know of the great Peter Falk. But you didn't say the name of the movie, so that still seems to be unanswered.

I got an enforcer, some MC up to 75, 1-2 mech bay - opened around 50 supplies i guess.
But yes usually some GXP, 250000cbills or some meh-weapons.

I've open over 100 also. No mechs and there are two other things that bug me. They have things that are "common", "uncommon", "rare" and "ultra rare". I often want the "common" thing which in the two Caches I'm about to open(for the heck of it) are 25 MC or $250,000 C-Bills. But I'm sure I will get a 14th C-PPC. (and yes, I got more crap)

The second thing is how it will slow down and almost stop on the Mech....and then it will go one more and I get another large laser.

I do not know of a 3rd world Casino with such bad odds. In the old West, people would be shot over this BS.

I got Baby on Board hanging item from my first cache and after that pretty much weapons and stuff like that.

But today , I opened 5 caches and got 3+1+1 days of premium and 2xER Large Lasers. I consider that lucky. Still no mechs for me.

I got an oxygen symbol. It's basically a big dot. Very versatile! Now all my mechs will be polka dotted.

Other than that the best was probably some clan ballistic that could sell for 400k.

I only open boxes that have the chance for a mech.
Opened about 25, best results were a mechbay and a SMN-D. Will probably sell this though, doesn't work for me.
