Recently an 18 year old girl went into a restaurants walk in freezer, and never made it out. While I feel bad about this event, I understand how it could have happened.
Restaurants keep their walk In freezer units about 10-20 degrees F, although I've been in a couple that were 20 below 0. Now when the door shuts, it goes completely black. The only way out is to press the plunger. The door latch is pushed, so turning the handle won't work. That is if you can find it. It looks like a silvery or plastic disk mounted upon a short shaft sticking out of the wall. Most require a hearty shove to open. Flipping open a cell phone or turning on a small flashlight will allow a person to find the pusher. She may have been hungry, went in to get a snack, at which point the door shut behind her.
Hopefully this post may prevent another tragedy.

Failed to mention she was stumbling drunk. If she had not been stumbling drunk it is very likely it never would have happened as she would have had more of her wits about her.

Not everyone who goes into a freezer late at night is drunk. While her intoxication may have played a role in her death, it might not have either. Nobody will ever know. My wish is to prevent another accident like this one.

So is this a new girl that was found in the freezer or is it the one who's friend pimped her out and allowed dudes to run a train on her? She was put into the freezer.

I would think OSHA would have rules to prevent this
for example all exit doors must have exit above the door with a light
also the exit bar on door is also a mandatory item
freezers should have a double mechanism that prevents the door from being closed completely
and a audible alarm when someone is inside

so the story is don't get drunk because that results in dump situations

If she was a customer, she shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near one of those freezers (not where I live at least)
If she was working there, she shouldn't have been drunk.
Either way, someone messed up.
BAD.
