I dont even know why people care about the challenge so much that they would go to the effort of buying new mechs just to get a lame cockpit item and 500k c-bills.

There is "under-populated" and then there is "deserted"

Normally it's the former....last night it was the latter. 3 ghost drops in a row, before finally getting one. Ironically, the search times to get a lobby weren't as bad one would expect.... because even Clanners mostly quit FW last night. Would have done QP earlier, but this QP event isn't really very profitable or even interesting.

We had 5 ghost drops last night.

And one fight against a major team.

That was it. Then we went back to Quickplay for the event. :/

If I had a consistent SEA group to drop with I might play FP at night, but man it's dead most of the time or just ghost drop after ghost. Instead been spending the last night or 2 build testing my Skoll, but with everyone in QP you see alot of names you never see in quite awhile playing, such that matchmaker is making run away games again.

The QP event seems to encourage either stupid builds (AC kodiak's etc) or high damage pinpoint assaults (literally finished a game last man standing against 3 fresh assaults, only took one before I turned a corner into an Annihilator whilst running from the other).

When one nations already gone, 2 are half gone, and the other nations left are just stopping points for the occasional merc unit, then theres no point going back. Clans have already won, now yall are just on your victory lap.
