[Tier5 Kerensky]

If you look ingame, you will see a future event.

Mectoberfest day 1 starts in 10 hours. It's QP event with several days and rather uninspiring rewards. But the requirements are easy too. Day 6 has 200 MC reward.

Day 3 requires to kill someone with heatshot. And price is atlas head item. Soo I'm guessing the day 3 will get some people riled up.

Wait, what? Kill someone while using a Heatshot? How does that work.

Except for the headshot all reasonable challenges and mediocre rewards. Good job to the event manager at pgi this time. Not a desaster like the last two events.

I'm fine with your idea, just no headshot challenge it's hard enough to play the game while playing 20% awake after work (but that's my lazy excuse).

Also it'll keep me busy while grinding out cbills and xp.

Will be hard to headshot someone with skill tree specced for additonal armor/structure.

They should add a big reward for being headshotted as well. That would encourage everyone to strip their head armor to 0 and make this event more fun.

That is a weird starting time for the events.

Day 1, Day 2 and Day 6 (nice!) for me.

I just received 2mil cbills and 100 MC as injection. I wonder why? I was playing QP, didn't unlock any archivements, not that any could have rewards like that. And I don't have that tournament supporter thing either, so it can't be such things.

I get the feeling it's some kind of compensation for the FP event and people's complains about the randomness. MWO main page doesn't have anything and it's too late to scour the twitter and other resources.

Small amounts, and I made the events fairly easy after two days of long-forgotten irritations, now I just wait for Scorch to hit -50% sale.

Looking at the archivements page I've gotten a total of 13 heatshots over my close 11k games, so I have little hope to complete that. But I've been headshotted probably 100 times.


Oh yeah, compensation.

Mode Challenge Frustration Compensation

• Anyone who obtained more than 5 Victories in any FP mode will receive an additional 100 MC and 2 Million C-BIlls
  
• This is compensation for the Mode Challenge Section of the event and is exempt from the Tournament supporter pack double reward

Some mechs can get up to around 38 IIRC.

Locust can get 44, IIRC, since durability tree scales inversely with tonnage and the base structure and armor on the head is identical across all 'Mechs.
