I don't know about the rest of you guys.

But this map is so bleak and depressing...
The color scheme, the atmosphere of the map is just horrid.

The general layout of the map and terrain isn't bad, but overall its just so Bleh....
I play this map, and just want to vomit at the atmosphere and color.

Needs a better color pallette and better visual aspects to the map.

If you took the color scheme of the FP map Emerald Tiaga, this map could be beautiful.
I think the map creators need to take a hard look at those aspects of the map.. Seriously.

But where would the N64 nostalgia be if they made it beautiful?

Where would the Call of Duty style need for depressing, grainy fields of mass quick to insta-killing due to tremendous quirks, overbearing skill trees and insane firepower (in terms of damage dispensing rates) sent if such mindless visuals didn't accompany the equally mindless gameplay of our "Thinking person's shooter"?

For that matter, why are you thinking?

I think its amazing, though people are already starting to form repetitive gameplay habits always running to the same area.
You can get so many sneaky angles on people its fantastic.

I like the doom and gloom setting, its a setting of that of mars type planet that something has gone wrong on. I like the fact that its hot, since that mitigates the Clan laser vomit, though my clan mechs run balanced so that doesn't effect me much. I'm not big on the whole, lets mount the biggest alpha thing...boring....

I love the map. If you think outside the box you have so many options. If your team is a "me snipaaaa, me do not move" team...you are royally f***ed

I'm okay with the map overall. I think the colors for the map are okay although I think I would have preferred something less dark. I'd like to see more lively colors used for maps more often than what we see now. Also I'm glad they didn't add a day/night cycle to the map-I'd rather just have a dedicated day and night version like we used to have.

I like that it's different; all the vertical terrain is a nice change. Short walk before you get to start trading and mutliple different approach routes is good.

Also its another hot map which is nice. (though I wonder if this negatively impacts players that can't aford cool shots disproportionately).

Great that there are no night/day cycles.

The lack of color beside grey is boring as ****. The only good things are are multiple paths to engage from which means there's no go-fight-in-center-always herd mentality. i've seen plenty of brawls mixed with some sniping and lrm fire. It's been nice compared to the near constantly laser meta spew on all the other maps.

Probably the only map where having two or more jj's gives you a lot of options. Walking off the high ground hurts your mech legs.

Environmental heat = awesome
Dreary atmosphere = meh
Feeling like I should be kiting fire giants or lizard warriors = sentimental

Too bad we can't have some underwater fighting. That would be an interesting change of pace.

I'm loving the matches on this map. I like to brawl, and this map provides.......so layout and playability? Great.

Artistically, however, it's an ugly pile of shite. It honestly looks like a map made in anger and in a rush: "they want a map, ok, here's a map" ....

Invisible textures abound also ......

Overall, I like the map as it is.

I would like to see more color though, generally speaking. However, for Rubellite, I think the color scheme is a good fit considering the topography and all the ruined structures.

Friggin RNG man, I can't get it to stop showing up. Thank gad i finally dropped at a diff location though, I keep getting dropped on in the same place.

I really enjoy the layout of the map but the visuals look like garbage.

I love the changes in elevation .

Its a very technical map, so many ways to attack from different angles, then you add the heat factor.
Its a very well designed map. You can almost always re-position quickly. So angle of attack is always available.

I like how it punishes repetitive behavior, causing everyone to keep shifting play behavior.

Ive really been enjoying playing on the map, just not so much the getting stuck in terrain.

After this map I think PGI needs to work on HPG and Caustic to make it almost impossible to nascar. This map has opened up so much more than running in circles.
