[Armored Yokai]

I have 4,800 MC and 3,300 of it is from the current event, there's tons of hero mechs to choose from and I am really unsure of what to get.

Should i get the Legend Killer/Top Dog/ButterBee or save for the sacred Battlemaster BLR-1GHE (Hellslinger)

Of those mechs you listed, I think the Top Dog is probably the best. The Hellslinger is good too.

Check the sales page because one or more of those mechs might be on sale right now.

Well if you’re going for ultimate cheapskate or mc efficiency, the legend killer is 40% off, according to the website I don’t think anything else is on that list is in sale right now, there were previously 35% off heroes present.

The Butterbee is nice, but probably not the best hero if you're not MC rich. It's not that unique or great, as much as I love Catapults. The Legend Killer is much the same - Just not that special.

I don't know about the other two, rarely see them around.

I'd use the Top Dog as a 4ERLL on the right torso and a targeting PC in the left and the engine will be XL because i can't llive without my torso so why not go down with it

The Battlemaster will have 2 HPPC and 4 ML or quad LPL

if the LK had 10% bonus energy i would mount quad ERLL with a targeting PC

That seems... bad. Why not at least 5ERLL, so it can compete with the Jester at least?

Assuming the Christmas drop rate is roughly the same as the Halloween one, you'll get, on average, 1246.5 MC from 225 loot bags. So...

1246 - Loot Bags
1250 - Advent Events (50 for 23 days, 100 for the last day)
1250 - 27th Holiday Event

I just bought the legend killer and am having a blast with it.

Top Dog is the most solid mech among the bunch, although it is heavily reliant on quirks. I prefer to save my MC for Clan Hero mechs only since they are not bound to quirks. Bought a Pakhet and a Scorch during the last sale, and I am saving the rest for a Virago and a Esprit the Corps, once they get on sale.

I will buy no clan hero until the Noobbringer and Goregoyle Heros come out! imo

No, thats what the ERLL Jester runs. Not a fan of it myself, mostly because I find it boring, bit its quite effective.

Hell, with its hard points, the Top Dog could probably pull of Sextuple ERLLs, if you were so inclined. I wonder why not Triple Large + Massed Mediums, though.

i love 6 ERLL battlemaster 1g and hill humping with it so why not put 4 ERLL on the topdog and just peek a bit and fire quad ERLL

I don't have the Legend Killer, but I do have all the other heroes up for consideration. Of the group, I recommend the Butterbee, as it combines the strengths of the C1 and C4 Catapults' hardpoints.

Butterbee is one I have my eye on, LRM heros are good moneymakers it can also do MRM vomit.
The battle master has some interesting quirks, but I am personally not a fan of the chassis.

Do you want the mech for its performance or because you like the way it looks?

If performance, as others have said, Top Dog But if its quirks ever get changed that may possibly lead to future disappointment.

If you want it just cause it looks cool, I'm guessing you like its hero paint job so pick your favorite. They all look great.

The Butterbee is a spectacularly bad LRM/MRM mechs. It just doesn't have the quirks for it.

The IV-4 is the heavy MRM hero. It would almost certainly be a better LRM mech as well, if you so insisted.

Discount Deathstrike would be the best option for solo queue (twin gauss, erml), I really like Jester too(lpl+erml), agility is relly nice. High Roller(twin lbx10+ml) is pretty nice for group drops as it doesn't eat too much tonnage.

Can't go much wrong with Black Widow(lot of good options) or Red Line(mpl) either. And MRM IV-4 is lot of fun too.
