The build you posted uses Single Heat Sinks. Not only DHS improve your heat capacity and dissipation, but the ones built into the engine also have slightly better capacity and dissipation than the ones mounted externally or in the extra heat sink slots you get at 275 or higher engine rating.

All heatsinks after the first 10 count as external, even if they are placed in the engine heatsink slots.

Prior to new tech I always ran my centurion with an XL engine, and to be honest, I didn't think it needed a std engine. It has a shield arm to negate blows when torso twisting and a slim profile. The big risk now I feel is double heavy gauss, instantly opening up whatever it hits.

As for zombie tactics - the Crab is better at it.

As for Light engine, I don't think the sweet spot of making them useful is in a Centurion.

Er, I don't recall posting a build that had single heat sinks - perhaps you're confusing me with another post? If I did recommend such a build (except as an example of how to do a desired SHS build better,) it was an oversight.

What do you think about AMS on regular Yen-Lo-Wang (ac20+2ML)?
Do i need it or is it better to load more ammunition?

Trash the AMS and don't look back. The Yen-Lo is a hardpoint-starved 'Mech, and you only get the best performances out of it when you leverage every bit of tonnage you can to maximize what few advantages it has. Namely: an AC20 arm, an empty LT with an amazing shield arm, and CT energy hardpoints that you'll almost certainly die before ever losing. Good use of cover will protect you from missiles better than a single AMS, and... well, the Wang is not a support 'Mech. It's a duelist. If it's an escort 'Mech you're looking for, there are far better mediums for that, either with dual AMS or ECM.

My go-to Wang build, which I loved the first time I tried it and have only grown fonder of every drop since, has been the AC20+SNPPC build (posted earlier in the thread too), which looks like this. Short-duration lasers are best if you don't want to eat the tonnage for a SNPPC. With lasers, I would build it like this.
