I paid $86 to get my keys out of my locked car. Did I get gouged?
I don't have a cellphone. So I couldn't call around. It's what I ended up paying and that was after haggling down.

It can vary from location to location as well as the time of day and the day of the week You will have the base fee to come out, then the service itself. Roadside assistance is nice when you need it.

That's cheap. Here you would expect to pay $125 for a car lock. Pray you don't lock yourself out of your house.

$125 is actually what he told me too. I told him I couldn't afford that at the moment. So I guess I got lucky to haggle it down to $85.
