Simple notion, change the hud indicator that you are taking damage to purple when it is from a friendly source. For one to combat trolls, for two to avoid having to communicate it (and deter people who do it and don't communicate), for three to avoid general confusion during combat. But most importantly to deter trolling and forcing a player to expose his back to check if it was a misfire or an enemy about to butt gank him.

I like this. It would definitely help to know right away and without looking whether or not I was shot in the back by a friendly or if it was an enemy. It seems like a simple enough thing to do too.

100% in agreement. Many people get an inadvertent attack from the back, and get spooked thinking there's a Stealth Armor Cicada behind them.

Bump for posterity, thanks for the support on this one guys, I really think it's a better alternative to something like disabling FF.
