If companies are doing better with the new tax values, how come gas prices are not dropping. Are the petrol companies greedy or what?

Yes, yes they are. Hell I've heard that they'll shut down a plant just so they can say they've got supply and demand issues.

As for the tax relief. Dat ain't helping nobody but the already wealthy.

If they want to kick start the economy all they have to do is lower the price of gas by 50 cents and it will go from there. If every dime goes in the tank, it's still hard on people.

Gas prices are high because of taxes on gas paid at the pump. They didn't cut any of those.

Take a look at gas prices overseas and tremble in fear, cause that's whats coming to even you in the ol´ US of A .

Its so amusing seeing americans complain about their ridiculously low gas prices .

Until you can get a used electric vehicle for 5k or less. It wont happen in America outside of the largest cities. You have to have infrastructure in place to get people to and from work before you can price half of the population out of the market with taxes.
