Hello,

i didn't play MWO for a while now and restarted playing this year. But sadly i can't start with the portal anymore. As a workaround i play and patch with the old launcher. When the launcher will become unavaible this february i can't play anymore until this is fixed.

This is what i get:
ERROR: There's a conflict of running applications. Another instance of the MWO Portal appears to be running. Only one instance is allowed at a time.

Try checking your Task Manager, as well as your Startup Applications List. I think something weird must be going on behind the works. Any chance you happen to have the Old StandAlone Launcher running when you're trying to fire up the MWO Portal Launcher? I don't know, but my guess is that might interfere. :blink:
