Description: MWO client crashes on startup - screen turns black for a moment, then it just crashes.

Steps to Reproduce:
Start launcher via steam, brew coffee waiting for videos to play, log in.
Notice screen turning black followed by a crash shortly after.
Occurs since:
Today. I could play just fine yesterday before the hotfix.

update:
After running the repair tool, erasing all settings & profiles, I'm able to get into the mech lab and played around on the training grounds. Will keep an eye on this.

Ok, running the repair tool indeed did it for me - I even get better framerates now.
This issue is resolved for me, maybe it can be closed.
