Has Clan Superiority Ended?

TL;DR: I have been winning a good amount of FP matches by PUGing on an IS contract tonight. This is unusual from what I remember. Did I get lucky or has clan dominance in FP ceased?

Tech wise Clan are still better but with less tonnage it's better than before. IS yo need to get yourself below 500m, Clan you need to melt your enemy away at long range.

That's the reason.
As clan for 4 weeks now we've had basically insta drops constantly, have hardly lost any matches. So it's not some sudden tech/balance change. Clan is still stronger IMO.

I think it was at least 4 drops but this was against pug vs pug
the most we saw was 2 two man teams on the other side
I even formed a group and was able to do some training for some new people
and they kept saying how fun it was
don't worry I did not tell them the truth just played and drop called

To me map shaping is the true reward not c-bills of which I have billions.

Clans would roll over IS if they were given equal tonnage, since generally any Clan mech can do what an IS mech does with less tonnage.

And that may finally prompt PGI to actually balance the tech, instead of using tonnage and quirk crutches for the IS side.

More likely it would only promt them to but the tonnage advantage back in after fp lost another chunk of poulation.

The unfotunate part is im feeling the change more on my clan mechs that run dakka or other other "cooler" builds that run few heat sinks rather than my laser vomit.
