Mechwarrior Arena 1V1 Tournament 24Th February

MechWarrior Arena (MWA) is back and hosting a 1v1 single elimination, best of 3 round tournament set for 1:00 pm EST on Saturday the 24th of February. Players will have the option of choosing to participate in one of three specified weight classes (80-95 tons, 60-75 tons, and 20-45 tons respectively) to earn glory and potential prizes. Hope to see many of you there!

This looks promising....

I've been wanting to test my skills in the heavy bracket; This game has really hit the pits for me as far as interests; Maybe it'll help me get interest again.

If I may ask Silken, to help me and other's possibly understand;

for the best of three, I assume we use three different mechs for each match?

I don't care which mech you use in each round so long as they fit the weight class and the load out rules. Players may stick with 1 mech or diversify as they please. In between rounds there is a 3 minute period allotted for the players to configure their mechs and rejoin the lobby with the lobby with the one they intend to fight with as it will be locked in upon arrival. Mech switching in lobby is only allowed if the opponent agreed to it.
