Yea, i realize there is a VD event, But don't miss the opportunity PGI to say you read the boards!


Event/Reward

Get 10 wins, flag of your choice

play 25 matches min match score, Pick a color.. (sorta the way to pick your country flag colors)

Play 30 matches Min match score, unlock snowfall pattern on any mech

Play 50 matches min match score, Pic a color..

Play 10 matches on a snow map and get a cockpit snowman

Yesh and oy veh, good luck with this..... Canada will win a lot of medals in Korea but PGI isn't at the Olympic level at videogames.......they didn't qualify.

Great idea though. I'm pretty sure for those who are actually playing MWO regularly, these are good prizes? Of course, the minimum match score would be 250............

Biathlon is the one with cold maps and shooting, right? Figure skating is the one where you try to leg your opponent?

For the skiing event the slalom flags are replaced with artillery strikes.

Oh wait, scouting is like 4 man bobsledding........four players with their heads up each other @*$&*, packed tightly together, on a long icy corridor that you try and get it over with as quickly as possible with the same ending everytime: a brawl !

Or, the single luge is like being a scout: all alone, running as fast as humanly possible, in the ravines and cover, where if you leave the track (cover), you die.....

To me colors are always good for pretty mucb everyone.. the other items i picked cause well winter Olympics


and yea, canada and all those northern European countries are pretty big into them along with the US.. and hey even AUS players have some people competing.. I just thought it could be a fun thing, though i should of posted about it, if i had thought of it a bit ago.

then again.. PGI says they read forums, and the new event thing is something they added to make cool events with little time needed so hey two birds with one stone! Heck i would even take a single flag for a single match..



BTW Congrats to Canadian mixed doubles on the curling win.. what a shot in the 6th or was it 7th end that got the forfeit in the gold medal match.. What an incredible shot! Curling is my favorite winter Olympic sport since it was brought back in 98. It's kinda like MWO... PUSH>>> PUSH>>> HARD>>>> HARD>.. STOP!!!!! the best part is hearing all the teams (aka for me non-English speaking players) in their native tongues.
