Although, the cockpit sticks out so it does seem like it can shield a bit better than the Awesome could.

High mounted RT at least...
Also keep in mind that Alex would obviously base the MWO art off of the classic Marauder rather than the reseen one, just like the current Marauder and Marauder IIC were.

In other words it would look exactly the same as the regular Marauder, but Atlas-sized and with random plane wings stuck out the back? Well, at least it wouldn't have hand actuators.

Maruader - 75 ton IS Mech
Maruader IIC - 85 ton Clan Mech
Marauder II - 100 ton IS Mech
Marauder II C - 100 ton Clan Mech
Would be fun.
More realistically though, never. Lawsuits and what not.
I would love to see this plus the Clan Deimos and IS Imp. As for the other picture I have never seen it before.

MAD-4X
- This experimental variant was made at Ronin Incorporated's facility on Wallis in 3039. Techs removed the standard weaponry from a Marauder and replaced the arm mounted weapons with a Binary Laser Cannon in each arm, while the torso mounted autocannon was replaced by twin SRM-6 launchers backed by one ton of ammunition. The Marauder-4X was also noteworthy because it used a Prototype Endo Steel chassis. To keep the heat under control, technicians installed twelve single heat sinks and six prototype Double Heat Sinks.

The Marauder was the original...
The IIC is a Clan spec refinement of the original
The II is a complete IS overhaul of the original to a 100t monster, that is in many ways worse than the original...
The II C is an IS refit with clan spec weapons to the II
Does that make sense?

Yeah, that's the "ReSeen" version. This is the original:

Some things could have remained Unseen imo
On a serious note, rather see a new chassis before a rehash of the same basic shape(yeah, heavier, but the same with JJ). Like if they gave us the Charger, then the Hatamoto-chi. Which sucks in some ways, because I'd like to see what they could do with the Akuma, but it's just way to similar to the Atlas.

That's actually powered armor, rather than a Battlemech.

I think he knew that... still I'd use Battle armour in MWO... then again I'd also take a vechile over a mech on most of these maps.... can you imagine an SRM carrier on a map like Mining Collective or River City? Let alone a Demolisher or Ontos....

Actually, it's an entire family of chassis. These are just the most recognizable, but the Nightstar in MWO is the same "family", along with not-yet-in machines like the Dragon Fire.

Oh, I'd take armor-a-plenty in this game. Sadly, we can't have super speed demons like the Savannah Master.

Oh I'd rock a Savannah Master if we had collision damage...
I love that because of that thing, they had to make a rule for hover vehicles not being able to ram things...
