The price is pretty good. Unfortinately, most of the heroes in it are... less than stellar.

210 engine Capped Urbie though. That is something, isn't it.

The first thing that sticks out to me is the P2W Mad Dog with 2E in the CT. PGI had better either release a C-Bill variant with a 2E CT (canon variant is Alternate D) or give extra quirks to the weaponless CT's.

In general there is a severe lack of Clan mechs. Just that one Vulture.

On the positive side, is it seriously $30 for the whole thing? That's kind of crazy, but I like crazy...

The existing Heroes run between 10-25 bucks a pop. There are seven in this pack.

Did the same thing with the Rifleman; it's just a RFL-3N with two of the energy hard-points pushed out into the arms.

They couldn't at least give them masc, jjs, or something out of the ordinary? But then I guess they'd be called pay to win if they had something too good. Tricky slope as always.

It's a mechpack.

The mechpacks have a branded name; regardless if what they're named or called, they'll be usable in any game mode.

As a competitive mode, if it's anything like Comp queue then you won't be able to use Hero 'Mechs in Solaris 7. So that leaves only QP and FP.

im sure you can use them in solaris.

and its stupid you cant use hero mechs in comp queue anyway. PGI gives out enough free MC to buy a hero mech.

And if its a mech you cant buy for MC and really need for comp play, someone on your team should just gift it to you, if you cant afford it yourself.
