Every map feels somewhat HPG like. Can only seem to hear really close environment sounds + your own mech sounds. A lot of sounds seem to be omitted like other mech footsteps their weapon sounds etc if they are further away or a lot is going on.

My mechs also seem to be heating up a lot more with fewer shots. I been taking my dire out and just a few taps of an ultra build and im hot whereas I could shoot a lot more last patch.

I can only speak to the sounds and honestly ive not been able to hear enemy mechs shooting at me from certain angles for a long time.
Example- being shot from the side or the back, I catch the enemy lasers but it makes absolutly no sound at all. This has caught me out many times. Seemingly random damage, until you realise you just got shot up as normal but the game doesnt feel the need to give you any audible damage sounds or anything.

Oh come on.

Every focking patch somebody claims that something weird is going on with the core game mechanics.
Eat less magic mushrooms then the hallucinations go down, trust me.
Unless you have evidence in numbers e.g.through XML values differences of MWO config files or videos of before/after cases in a test scenario your claim is moot and just wishful thinking.

But seriously I only partially blame you. I guess this reaction just shows how much people distrust PGI as developers since they always assume that PGI has focked something up or sneaked in a stealth change.

I've been having sound issues too. mostly due to the fact I use pandora while playing mwo with sound from the same speakers that are $20 budget ones. HPG has muted sounds for imuersion I guess being in space on a death start prototype. Half the time my mech still takes damage on the wrong side when hit. Red Damage indicator is your friend. Still if I could get the closed beta sounds for some weapons like er ppcs and lrm I would. Some of the newer sound fx are better than the cb ones. Pgi refuses to capitalize on mc sound packs and betty sound packs.

It seems like there is missing game sounds on further away objects. I did change a few graphical settings but it should not affect sound.

In terms of heat my mechs definitely run hotter not sure what to make of that, it just feels like more "unfunning"
