Ok ran that a bit and whilst the staggered alpha is nice the dps is poor so dropped two heavy mediums for two sinks and oh my the difference in dps.. Still 80 damage over a couple of seconds.. Posted Image

Although I recognize the uses (and users) of heavy medium lasers, I usually prefer the good old ER mediums due to the whole "long cooldown + long duration + short range"-package.

In this case I (quite ironically) stick to the table top and run my NVA-Prime with 12 ER medium lasers!

In the end, though... you've got a lot of yellow lasers, same as me, ride the heat wave, same as me and contribute to global warming, same as me... we're cool. (or hot?) Posted Image

You might want to give this build a go and see if it works better for you. It's got the same 8 HMLs, but adds 4 LMGs so that if you core a component but don't quite get it popped you can use the LMGs to finish the job while the lasers cool down. The LMGs can reach out to almost the same range so they compliment the HMLs nicely.

It also works as a tweak to your first build, assuming you don't have heat issues firing the second volley without overheating: NVA-PRIME

What do you use to take smaller screenshot? Thanks.

Which mech did I not kill?

The best NVA build at this moment is the NVA-S mech with NVA-Prime arms: 12 ERSL + 3AMS

NVA-S, didn't think about that. I have the Breaker, and I am having a hell of a time with it... Then again, I didn't really look at the omni pods yet...

I mean you can just run 2xAMS on it or use the D torsos for a bit extra durability instead.
