I have not touched the game in several years. I just logged in and it looked so much more improved. I am itching to spend 20000 gold I got as part of the Founders Legendary Pack. My favorite mechs are the Uziel, Mad Cat MKII, Raven, Vulture and Urbie. What's the best bang for my buck here guys?

Personally I wouldn't be spending MC on mechs you can get for c-Bills... I'd rather hold on the currency to buy more mech bays (always running short), cosmetics (colors/patterns/cockpit blows and whistles/etc), also good idea to use MC to transfer Exp to G-Exp, cuts down on grinding really well, and get all this preferably on sales or special events. You can blow whole 20k in a blink.

Don't spend MC on C-bill variants, ever. Wait for a sale and see if any hero mechs on sale suit your play style. You will also want to save some of those MC for the next mechbay sale and binge on bays (trust me, if you play long enough you'll have a BAD case of pokemech).

If you must purchase a mech with MC, buy a hero version of a given chassis to get the 30% c-bill bonus that comes with them. Otherwise, save the MC for mechbays and cosmetic items, but only when they go on sale.

Skip the Uziel, it's trash.

Mad Cat II, get the Deathstrike Hero with MC when it is on sale, or one of the other variants for cbills.

Raven, get the -3L variant for cbills.

Vulture, buy the Solaris pack for $30 USD, it'll get you a Hero version of the Mad Dog when it is released in April, along with some other (not so good) hero mechs. Alternatively if you like ballistics, get the Bandit hero with MC when it is on sale.
Cbill variants are fine too.

Urbanmech, either get the Solaris pack as above, or K-9 hero for MC when it is on sale, or regular cbill variants.
