Why have very specific weapon events anyways? Better when they have goals with multiple weapons so we still have some variety on the field.

Paul admitted that it wasn't balance in mind with people who actually know how to play the game, so they know that it's bad and they're fine with it.

Laser vomit is the only type of event that really makes any sense right now, with the current state of weapon balance.

How would an LRM event even be done? Just "Do X amount of damage with LRMs"? That doesn't seem to be enough.

How about a challenge? "Get X number of kills with LRMs." NOT KMDDs; that's too easy as the current event shows. You have to actually land the killing blow with LRMs for it to count.

Oooh, ooh, and who says LRMs have to have all the fun? "Shoot down X number of LRMs with AMS and/or LAMS."

hope you all remember how awful the c-ac event was.. so be glad there's no lurm-event.
better that everybody can play what they like.

though I'd really like to see small dailies (see hearthstone, now that's a good system) with random weapons for example.

in terms of events I'd really like to see a win-condition for QP; maybe people will try to contribute more that way (have seen too much lurm-landers the last days, ending the game with 100% armor - or with 100% and 5sec later dead.. *yuk*)
too much hiding going on during events, maybe "win" would disencourage that..

In case you haven't noticed, and it's obvious you haven't, DAMNED NEAR EVERY EVENT TURNS INTO A LRM EVENT!

LRM boating goes up AT LEAST 40% for every event that count assists and damage as part of their criteria.

EVERY TIME.

So, while your enthusiasm for computer guided admissions of "I can't aim by myself" is... cute, I dare say in this case it's absolutely unnecessary.

Why would you even use them let alone an event for them.. They are a cowards weapon or old people who have no use with their hands anymore.

The only crying would be the lurmers as other teams would smash them every game..

• deal Z missile damage to an enemy tagged/narced by a friendly

if there's any LURM event.
