While this change would be very welcome, I think only PGI knows how much cash they are making out of this conversions. So if it would really be that unprofitable, I bet they would already change it into c-Bills.

my problem isnt that it takes MC to convert XP, its that the conversion rate is GARBAGE.
it takes so much MC just to convert a little bit of XP, its the most not worth it thing in the universe.
considerably buff the XP conversion rate and ill do it.
becouse right now it costs so much money just to get even like 10 nodes.

So for those not mathematically inclined:
To fully "spec" a mech from zero skillnodes, you need 91 SP, that equates to (91 * 800 XP/GXP) = 72,800 XP/GXP needed.
You can convert XP from a mech at a rate of 25 XP per 1 MC.
This means that full spec costs you 2,912 MC , you can literally buy several lights/mediums with that, even some heavies (and if there's a sale on...)
For any veteran player the CBill cost of respec shouldn't be a problem, it's the new blood that has money issues.
This is quite literally "Pay to win" (as in throw money at the problem, not totally overpowered) as the skillnodes make you run cooler, have more armor, range, quicker firing cycle, and what not.
And I'm pretty certain PGI won't do jacks**t about this, since they really don't seem to care. The respec cost removal is just a bandaid to help new blood.

This actually deters me from buying more mechs and mechbays with actual MC. I don’t always have time to grind a new mech, the irony is that PGI would get more of my money if they stopped this practice. I get that they are business and need to make money but they should consider this.
