I'm not a new player, but I am a casual non-committed player who takes long and frequent breaks from MWO.

I was just wondering if ECM still works the same way it always has when it was first introduced or if anything has changed in the meantime. The way I remember it working is as the wiki page describes it:
https://mwo.gamepedi...termeasure_(ECM)

Except I know it got it's "bubble" reduced to 90m. Did anything else change I ought to know about? What do the ECM skills in the Sensors tree do to it, exactly? I'm not sure I understand the descriptive text correctly.

The ecm-nodes reduces the range the enemy can target you through your ecm.
The sensor-nodes increases the range you can target enemys shielded by ecm.

If you take no ecm-nodes and your enemy has all sensor-nodes he can target you far out.
If you take the ecm-nodes and your enemy has no sensor-nodes you will be not targetable until he is close.

The skill tree leaves alot to be desired. ECM is still useful but not as useful as before.
