And it hasn't worked in many months. I can't even search for myself or my threads without going to my own profile feed, nor can I search for friends. I type it in the box, search queries always find no results.

Is this something on my end, or has PGI disabled search functions and why?

This link drew a blank for me, too, until I discovered just now that Javascript is required for it to work. I use a Noscript plugin and forgot to add this to the trusted sites. Just in case someone else has it, too (doesn't go too well with a swiss cheese brain sometimes). But the small search box on the regular forum pages still doesn't work..Maybe simply replace it with that link? Problem solved and the question won't pop up again.

(Now having sudden flashbacks and an urge to check on my homestone... why might that be? Cheers )

PGI doesnt gives a F## gor their homepage. The first homepage "maintennance siiince years was the update of the community page and that was all.
No newby guides updates,no Game mode updates, no good user manual for the game. If the Community wouldnt make tutorials and so much more, newbys would have it harder to find in the game.
... like i said. pgi doesnt gives a single F## for their homepage. Also their broadcasting of news. Twitter &other medias first
but not here where shuld be the very first adress
