From the Hotfix page:

-The Map banning timer phase has been reduced to 5 seconds instead of 10 for Solaris matches.

So, was anyone really bothered by the ten second timer or something? I personally had no issue with it being 10 seconds.

Guess I won't have to wait a few extra seconds I guess, but it doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me.

I for one was bothered by the time. Map banning could take up to 30 seconds. A 1v1 could be over in 30 seconds or less.

This is one small change out of many to improve the ratio of time spent actually playing the game.

I needed 5 seconds to stare blankly at the screen before I ban the map when I get to ban first. The timer elapsed once or twice on me but thankfully the random ban was in my favour.
