Hey all,
6th Messenger asked me to do an UrbanMech IIC after seeing the Bane(Kraken) I still haven't wanted to finish.
For whatever reason I really dived into this and am quite happy with how it turned out and so thought to share it with you guys. Funny enough there is almost no art of the URBIIC, save Plog's and one other pic. Everything else was just miniatures.
PLOG is friggin awesome, and one of my favorite artists in Btech.

Without further ado,

The Urbinator

I plan on doing more work on it but the line work is pretty complete.

Also this is my original work (styled after PLOG's work), so ya, if you like it and want to use it please ask first.

Some critiques on the design would be helpful.

I really like it so far!

For critique... would be the lower legs seem a tad short. Maybe add a clear waist line so it can clearly do the 360 torso twist urbies are known for too?

Ya I thought about that, I'm pretty sure the IIC effectively acommplishes the 360° with a rotatable dome and weapons that do the flipping turning. Look at the TRO art and you'll see what I'm talking about. It doesn't have a waist

Is that better for height?

Height is definitely better.

A great man once said...

"Chicks dig giant trashcans."

As for critique, this is hard for a 2D forward facing image but perhaps simplify the left arm mount and turn the laser block into a laser drum with a circular and extended barrel, akin to the the classic artwork and miniatures, but that's just my taste of laser design. Though I like the forward thinking about turning the UAC 10 into MWO's counterpart!

Wouldn't wanna walk into one of these blighters in a dark alley at night. Noice work!

This little bugger should be in MWO. THE CLANS NEED THEIR URBIENLIGHTENMENT! Followed by the Imp.

Man I really thought there would've been more Urbie fans. Guess everyone is on BTech.

So ****** lovely.

Now could you try a 6-barreled rotary cannon, with 10-tube ct missile, and 2 medium lasers (over-under yellow lense).

While the drawing is true to the model, it ends up looking a bit weird because the leg is only composed of the thigh and foot. The whole calf portion is missing, due to the boot like foot being both of these parts. I think you can do a bit more of adding your own interpretations into your drawings to fix things like this if you see em.

the closest mech to the IIC in speed and weight is the uller/kit fox. so I built some urbie type builds the ultra ac10 and two er small lasers does allright but needs more armor and jumpjets. anyone else tried this?
