About to move into our new house, so Ive put commission work on pause and in doing so have found time for a few little projects Ive wanted to do, but couldnt due to work requirements.

The first is this guy that I was able to print yesterday and paint today:

For the next one, I sculpted a reasonably quick base and assembled/posed/battle damaged this guy.

Im printing it much larger (about 5 inches in diameter for the base) and on a Form 2, so Ive got about a day or so to wait on that one. But I look forward to the finished result.

I did a 'baby' print of the diorama to make sure I liked the layout, this is the much smaller preview of the planned look.

Sweet! Looking awesome esp with the paint job :D 6mm TT models?

And did you make the base for the KGC yourself? Care to share the model please?

And Form 2 ... .. I'd love to have a SLA if they wernt that pricey lol. FDM ftw!

The Micron could print epic scale mechs, it can go seriously tiny with high fidelity. The Form 2 just has a bigger build plate, so Im using it instead for a more diorama feel. :) Plus the Micron can print a three inch model in about four hours, whereas the Form 2 takes forever.

Ill be sharing the whole thing for download once it finishes printing and I know if theres any tweaks needed. It may be hard to see but the base already has the feet for the posed KC booleaned into it, so I want to be sure the larger version fits like a glove.

As of this post, there are...18hrs and 23minutes left on the crab, then the base, so it will be Monday or so provided theres no printing issues, Im worried the resin tank is at the end of its life and Ill be a sad panda if I find out the hard way.
