Which mech pack do we have to buy to not go through this again (Been a Davion Loyalist since i joined) ?? Whats even the purpose of having this in Faction Plays current iteration.

Scouting matches last a lot less than invasion - grab anything 55t or less, get your ten wins or losses (or a mix of both) and you can play for points like before.

ok, now I know the problem - with everyone playing battletech or solaris, it's currently near impossible to find scouting matches.

Forget what I said, it's actually possible to get scouting matches, just takes much longer than usual.

Never have an issue with finding those matches.

Why do you believe it serves no purpose? And it is not faction play probation period, it is Loyalist probation period, ie mercs do not get to vote. Gain no loyalty points nor have the ability to vote on what planets will be fought for on the next interval. So for those who have, it prevents those with several alts with no battles from gaining the ability to vote more than once.

Good to know. I was annoyed when FP reset. I had to do another probationary period but if it serves a useful purpose it is worth it.

Tbh, if only the voting was disabled, probation would be fine.

Not gaining loyalty makes invasion matches pointless for probation since they take soo long.

Let's assume 15m for a scouting match.. that's 2-1/2 hours of play time. Ugh.

And voting? Does anyone realistically use the system anymore?

If we have the probation period to only thwart power alt-voting then remove both!

Yeah on all my Loyalist alts I never give a crap about voting anyway. I might vote if I'm playing one of them at the moment because I see the vote thing pop up. Even during phase 3 I never used them to skew the votes just to get into the action if the contract my unit had could not engage on a front I wanted to engage on. Also some factions had active units that were a lot of fun to drop with so it was also good for that.
I think the skewing the vote thing was kind of an empty theory anyway. I'm sure a few people did it but I doubt enough of them did to matter.

Voting been dead since god knows how long ago.

I never vote for the map. I try to get in so many FP and QP matches as I can not play everyday. Like today.

I was able to finish my probation matches today. Yay.

Took much longer than I had hoped.
