Sometimes its OK for hours, sometimes its broken the entire evening, sometimes restarting the client solves it, reinstalled the game, verified game files, right now ive restarted the client about a dozen times and reinstalled the game twice, cant get the sound to come back anymore.
Certain sound effects are missing in game, all missile weapons for example make a silly *blup* sound, sounds like farts. My footsteps go and then go back, i can hear some weapons, others I cannot.
Its become a bit silly where I spend the majority of my time on MWO restarting the game to get some sound effects back. Pretty sure I spend more time trying to fix this than actually playing.
Also updated sound drivers, tried another headset, but idk why i would even bother doing all this, system is fine anywhere else.
Its not just me, i just asked in game if anyone else is getting fart sounds when launching missiles and random missing sound effects like footsteps, others said they were getting it too.
