The problem with being so high up on the SSR ranking is that, when fighting against someone with lower ranking you don't gain as much if you win. So, it depends upon whom your opponents where and what their SSR ranking was when fighting against you.
So, 7 extra SSR points for 10 wins. Means you are earning less than a point on some of those matches... Seems like it might be literally working as intended? Then again, SSR seems more based on number of matches played than match performance (though match performance obviously does have an impact.)
(Now mind, I'm no expert here.)
