Hi, how many Mechs per Mech Bays is it and how many Mech Bays in total can I have, please?

The ultra rares did come with the possibility of 400MC, but they may have just changed the contents of supply caches in the patch that is about it to be applied. The current event is worth 50MC per challenge, for a total of 2350.

You can get something of value if "value" includes an LRM-5 launcher.
If you set the bar any higher, my experience is consistent with the rumor.

Yes, quality is not the same as it used to be. Out of something like 40 caches, I have recived Mc once, a small engine once and no mechs, bays, war horns, premium time.

The current long-term pattern of earning Mechbays is currently:

• Do events that give MC. Save up that MC.
  
• Wait for 50% off Mechbay Sale. Use all MC to get bays.
  
• Outside of events, try to rank up various factions in Faction Play as they also have Mechbay rewards. Scouting is the simpler one to do.
  
• You can watch Twitch Streamers who play MWO. A lot of them raffle out 1,000 MC, a Mechbay, Premium Time or even mech packs to their followers/viewers. You might get lucky.

Of note, all new players start with 4 bays and you no longer need 3 mech variants of the same chassis to level up a mech fully so you really can have 4 unique mechs fully skilled.
