I'm mostly a light pilot and I feel like the kit fox and urban mech are very underrated. I mean, solaris D7 should be called the kit fox division.

Yeah, KFX-D can pack some serious punch with quad SRM-6

I usually run 4xsrm6, ecm, 1xhml, 4jj in my kit fox.

I go with Artemis and skip ECM/JJs in favor of the -D set bonuses (slight improvements to missile heat and cooldown)

Banshees used to be really good, then came the hardpoint rework (hard nerf) and the engine desync (hardu nerfu).
It doesn't really has the benefits over other assaults as it used to have.
With the introduction of LFE engines, a lot of build for other assaults became more viable, meanwhile the XL banshees became more fragile in comparison.
Not saying banshees aren't usable anymore but they are nowhere near as good as they used to be.

I have all the Highlanders and a minimum of 100 games in each of them.

they did suck a bit until they got armor quirked and they got even better with the skill tree.
with full survival tree they are only 3 points shy of a King Crab wit max survival and since the Anni was nerfed they have more armor that it does.

Only the Atlas has outright more armor than the Highlander.

Also the Cataphract 3L can be nasty, 4 Mls, AC20, 120 CT armor (max survival tree) and with MASC it can hit 100 kph (LFE 325 and full mobility tree)
