Why are there so many people suiciding today 10 seconds into the rounds? I had 4 rounds in a row with this, different players. Over the rounds I've played I've seen 7 people do this today.

they suicide and drop immediately.

should add, i believe they were all rounds on the Euro server.

Really suiciding or just DCed? DCs happen alot in MWO.

If they are just killing themselves off at the beginning of the match in protest for something, all you can do is report it and move on. It's against the CoC.

Trolls. You only get c-bills for damage and kills your mech does until it gets killed. Ten seconds in you're only be able to laser vomit and over heat or if you spawn close enough go out of bounds. i'm not aware of an event and since those are solo damage focused that wouldn't be a cause.

Saw an Annihilator an hour or two ago suicide immediately. Like, just walk off out of bounds.

Report ingame, ask people to do the same in all chat, move on. Probably someone tanking tiers.

yes not just AFK, they walk out of bounds or override and heat death.

Also not the normal people who blah blah whine before doing it. They just do it.

Dunno haven't seen that. Did see a guy apparently testing his heat thresholds yesterday then apparently he hit another guy and that other guy decided that meant he should destroy his mech totally. Yeah GGWP

I've seen it a few times, people just walking out of bounds at start, but I only see it maybe once in a day where I play for several hours

Was it on Solaris? Its really easy to do by accident on Solaris.

I've seen one or two people suicide intentionally when they're the last person alive in the last few days. **** is weak, fight it out if you're worried about your stats.

Twice this week I've had a teammate announce his hate for the map and then suicide seconds later. These guys don't care.

It happens a lot in Solaris City. The mechs should not dropped off at such very close to the map border and should not immediately face border, but once again we are talking about PGI here..

Just think, they won't get any C-bills worth mentioning. At least if you play you are still a valued player, and not a (expletive deleted) who can't stand up to the challenge the map presents. Meanwhile, the report player option still works.

Maybe, this is the only way they can make a statement because no one at PGI is reading the forums???

A way to force PGI to at least respond? Crazy but, who the heck knows.....it hasn't been fun during the event and tempers are up there....

Sadly, I did this a couple of times last week in my Fleas.

I alt-tabbed out to change a keybindings in my gamepad and it toggled masc and roasted my legs in the 45 seconds or less I was gone... ironic as I was changing the keybinding for masc.

This. I almost suicide by running out of bounds. I was like WTF. and got back in with 1 second left..

Wonder if PGI could code the mechs to be dropped 180' in those maps where they face out of bounds?

At least then those pilots would have to turn around and run out of bounds. That extra key press might be to much for them and they might actually play...

I've noticed people will do that if they get a map they don't like.
Its kinda annoying especially when its an assault class.

I mean, at least go Lee Roy Jenkins and be a brief distraction dont' just run out of bounds.

Also, for the record, the out of bounds areas on Solaris CIty is super close to the drop.
I was in my PIR and was feeding my face so I blindly hit "0" for max speed, and just happened to be facing outward and I ran out of bounds by the time I sat back down.
