have you ever had to puzzle about the exact minimum range of some weapon? be it LRM, ATM or PPC, the damage ranges for ATM ... you can guess based on a cute hard to read lil grafic, but no exact values are shown, you need to either know them or test them out yourself .. and then remember them ... and then there is the scaling damage of clan LRM below minimum range ...that is not even shown correctly in before mentioned grafic
ever wanted to know how many shots an AC20 fires? you know its 8 shots per ton now .. but suddenly there is a way bigger number in game ...confusing? how often can I still hit the enemy with the displayed shots?
this are questions I think a lot of players are asking themselves when building a mech ..
I think it is overdue that such rather cruicial info is actually displayed in the item window
don't think I am the only one who would like that info shown with weapons

These are all perfectly legit questions.. some answers which I still seek out despite having been playing this game for over 5 years.. hopefully PGI is listening.. don't even start to understand how probes interact with ecm and at what ranges and how probes stack with tag and uav, and couter ecm.. the mind boggles.
Another basic question.. why can't we see the inherent quirks of a mech without having to go to the store and go through a myriad of clicks??
