Collision Damage Can Cancel It ?

Collision damage is minimal. It doesn't matter unless your leg is almost falling off anyway.

Fall damage can be reduced by jump jets and by skill tree.

If you want to cancel the *frumple* of the collision of *juicy bubbles* you could try to be *Slippery* and avoid the *outside*. Why not consider having *Parties* with ORZ? We can make the *happy fun times* by killing things before they make you *frumple.*

Needs to be equiped, "L" is an on/off switch. Hit "L" + sirens means lights are on. Hit "L" without sirens means lights are off.

External light should keep flashing long after the sirens stop, too. Use third person view to see your lights.

Note:
Light effect is just an effect, it does not produce actual light sources (dark rooms, etc., will not be illuminated by blue and red lights).

Uh, I thought I got food poisoning and was hallucinating. What the heck? Gamers are the weirdest,,,, LOL

On a related question, how much damage does a collision do anyway? I once lost all my weapons in a match and tried to help by running into the enemy, blocking them, jumping on them (death from above!!!!), didn't seem to do anything noticeable.

It seems to be variable depending on mech speed and difference between tonnages.

Jumping does very little. The most damaging collision is a full speed collision (amplified if they run into you, too), so a fast assault mech like an Awesome/Victor/Zues with a 360 or better engine do some solid damage considering the anti-climatic result. (Pretty Baby + 400 engine does decent damage to lights, though you can do the same with an AC/5 or Light PPC... so what's the point?)

Best example of a collision, though, is this one.

Broke one's leg by "colliding" with it while backing up... I like to say I stepped on him.

Sadly it all pales compared to what it used to be.


Btw.. I didn't hate it.

I really, REALLY miss the jump kick.

Old games are just cool like that. Their presence in the second game was also weird, but the voice... the voice was just so fruity.

The "bump overs" and lo e taps hardly qualify for the actuator crushing, armor smashing, myomer ripping glory that is battlemech melee combat and knockdowns.

Hopefully some day we get it for real.
