If you cannot run, aim for its head.

The Annihilator's weak spot is the fact that it's the size of a building and moves slower than one, so shoot it literally anywhere while it's stuck out in the open and be ready to run the hell away when it starts to look sternly at you. Otherwise, the back and/or the legs

Stop screaming.

Mechs in this game do not have weak spots you can hit for additional damage and no resistances or vulnerabilities to specific weapon types.
The only things that can be considered "weak spots" are the cockpit hitbox (which is typically very small and extremely hard to hit on purpose unless the mech is already immobilized or shut down) and back armor (which players typically reduce to minimum so that they can put more armor on the front of their mech.

The Annihilator is not a major threat unless you're trying to facetank it (in which case GG, no re). Its' head turret sticks out high above terrain, its' main weapons are all waist-level, it's one of the slowest chassis in the game and all variants except the hero depend on direct-fire weapons.
In other words, it will hurt if it gets in position to fire on you, but it's so visible and so slow that you can avoid that quite easily.

Which Annihilator, and what's the loadout?

Popular loadouts are the Heavy Gauss, the 6AC2, and the 4 LBX10.

With the Heavy Gauss, engage at range. At 500 meters, it hits as hard as a gausshammer, which is hard, but not punishingly so. Aim for the torsos, once open you can pop the gauss rifles easily and make him useless.

If it's the 6AC2 one, it's deadly at all ranges, but require sustained facetime to really deliver serious DPS.Poke from cover and alpha strike. Aim for the torsos, this one has the least amount of armor on the shoulders, if you can blow off a torso you halve it's firepower and it's a lot loss scary. Alternatively get in close and brawl it, if you can try to get into it's rear arc it will waste time trying to turn instead of shooting, so you can keep hitting the torsos.

If it's the 4 LBX10 one, treat it similarly to the Heavy Gauss one... it's only a threat within 500 meters. Stay back and pop the torsos.

Most mechs, no matter how quirked they are, will generally a bit soft on their back side. Do not face-tank Annis, Fafnirs, MCIIs etc, but take them from sides or better yet, from behind. This is very difficult to do in Solaris - of course.

These are the most common loadouts and indeed the best ways to handle them. Alternatively, of course, hit them hard in the back if you can, and take advantage of the fact that their highest weapon mounts are chest level.

My Anni-2A has 5xAC5 and the only way to do Damage to me is:
come very close or in my back....

and the little ones:
stay directly in front of me :-D

Shoot it patiently in the side torsos, or in the butt. :P

The best way to defeat an Annihilator is to just walk away at a leisurely pace as it's speed makes it a joke.

It's only ever dangerous head on in a choke point at medium range.

Legs or back run circles around it.
