Are we really going to wait 3 months for the Divisions to get changed again ? Divisions 1-5 have a clear domination by ac2 mechs. It was obvious last season, keep the meta changing and fresh. A constantly changing meta might actually keep Solaris going. Playing with or against 6x a2c's gets pretty boring after like the 5th match.

You missed the best part: PGI wants to move mechs up or down only one division at a time, then wait three months. At that speed Solaris will have good divisions in about two or three years. Until then the divisions will be a collection of useless mechs with one or maybe two metas. But it will possibly take longer than those few years, just look at the walking cheeseburger they plan to have in div 2 for at least five months. And the other cheeseburgers are still in div 3...

Umm only div 1 2 and 4 are ac2 meta and theyre are counters especially in div4

No, initialy solaris season is 3 months, however, after that, all seasons shall last one month each.

Counters especially in div 2 as well. Div 1 the only place where they're relatively annoying.

Nopes, in-game counter says this season will end in 83 days. So it's three months per season.

I agree, however is it fun ? I find it completely stale after several matches of the same. Solaris should be shifting mechs up and down in divisions like biweekly to keep things interesting an engaged.

I saw your OrionIIC lb+srm build - hows it doing against those KGCs? Im using a Cyclops face splatter (SRM6+A x6 +2SL or SRM6 x7 + 2MPL) to even out the odds, but its hard to get a good map (since I have to spend 2 bans on long range maps) to quickly get into effective range without the KGC running off into an open corner. I consistently need cover to pop a few rounds and not lose a torso to have a chance against those guys.

If I can get right into their faces then its a autowin haha those claws cant focus at point blank.. but doing this is quite impossible without losing my body with any decent crab.

Works well, but you have to know what you're doing if you're to close in appropriate and land your alphas on them.

Although, 5 years of initial playing this game and 2 years roughly of piloting the orion IIC does help; I invite those interested to watch me whenever they can. Just add me, and when I'm on I usually play Solaris.

Ah, good point, I had forgotten about the event!

Unfortunately, an event without MC as a reward isn't enough to tempt me to into 1v1 matches. My 300 ping proves too big a barrier.
