Hah hah lol yeah I got the same problem. I've played now like 8 hours or whatever and I got only two turrets kills so far. If only I've realised early that those need to be taken out fast on the few attacks I initially had.
Right now Im trying to refine and master a deck that allows me to rush in with 4 mechs as fast as possible, while not doing it too jerk way.
It may help if you think some of the rather pesky events PGI has previously done with much more RNG to complete.

Afaik you can damage your own turrets, I just do wonder if this does counts too?

No you cant damage your own turrets, you used to be able to but it was removed, you could still air strike them but then that was removed as well.
They are safe from your event farming madness!

When was that removed?
I killed friendly turrets not that long ago, maybe like 1-2 patches ago!?
You know, friendly turrets on Sulfurous Rift can be really... a sneaky ***** sometimes by shooting your back...

ya..would it not have been better to do incursion? " i know people loath this game mode in FW cause its super cheese and people spam base rush, but still, turrets are easy to pick up here.
