For this event I have decided to go full potato and join Clan Wolf, the Davion's of the clans!

Davion's looking to 'Hodor' are welcome (except Wolfy), lets show the green turkey's how its done.

Bring some baggies Falcon's because I just took a massive dump on your lawn (hows that for lore).

Love clan wolf.. but thinking if i want competitive play, i need to go else where..

Looks like Everyone but a few units went Falcons. They are winning purely because they have so many units droping and wolfs very few. Its very lopsided. Our unit won almost every match but didnt even make a dent on the screen.

Same happened to me last night. I went Falcon initially, assuming that Wolf would be overpopulated. Not the case, it was very hard to get games. So I went back to Wolf last night, and we won every game we played there (like 5-6 in a row?) and barely dented the tug of war.

Falcon is stacked, wolf is insta drops. Its a real missile fest out there though, I haven't seen this much rain in ages

It seems more balanced than the IS event, about half of my friendlist is Wolf, half Jade Falcon. When it started it seemed Jade Falcon is dominating, but it seemed to become better.

I don't know about the population balance but the skill parity? Oh my word!!!! I've been constantly scoring so high I am being investigated by the DEA ;)

It is an age old argument but if you are bringing LRM's be prepared to get your own locks and hold them, if you're not then bring direct fire weaponry and learn to trade for Kerensky's sake.

With no penalty to switch on a whim why would people not swap to the side that will win?

I dont get why anyone would care if they're on the winning side of these, literally makes 0 difference. Now getting fast drops is much more important. I wish they had a population bar that showed currently active distribution of players.

At what point would that information be collected to show the percentage (PGI would not show numbers again)? Does the information include both waiting to form up a group and those waiting for an actually drop? And the people who have formed up and are on a timer, how many does PGI allow at any one time?

Example faction Alpha has 3 formed groups with 10 minute countdown and another 8 at the searching while faction Beta has 6 in searching mode. That would be 44 to 6. How would PGI reflect that difference without actually showing actual numbers 88% - 12% ? And should it also include a countdown for the first team in line for a ghost drop, provided there is a formed team with a count down?

A player would know that there is at least one group already formed up by the game.. social networking (for what little there is in MWO interface), hurry hurry, etc... otherwise no countdown timer.

it doesn't have to provide numbers or percentages, it doesn't even really need to be that precise or live for that matter, it just needs to ballpark what's happening with the population. It could be just a bar showing the approximate distribution of players on each side that have queued up over the past 1 hour, so you can at least tell when one side has twice as many people
