Yesterday i had tight match: when all of allies were killed i refused to death and start record. Mistakes were made - poor aiming and fuzzy actions.

Sorry for potato editing.

TLDW:6vs1, Skirmish Match Result - TIE.

And here is the question: should in this situation the only survivor fight to very end or not to waste time and go die?

Love that video, amazing work by the way.

As to the question, as long as you're engaging and not just hiding, you try to stay alive, never sell yourself cheap,

Well done. I'd like to see the last player at least try but I don't mind if they just run straight to the enemy and get it over with quickly- as long as they do something I'm generally okay with it (assuming objectives don't come into play). It's the ones that hide and do nothing for 7 minutes that bother me.

you can tell when the last remaining player is just avoiding combat to preserve kdr. they just kind of run around aimlessly and if they see an enemy they usually go elsewhere and you never see them fire their guns. this case hes actually doing work and providing good entertainment for those waiting to get their mechs back. thats my yardstick, if you are fun to watch, you are not a useless waste of space.

I remember the match on Mining where you did get the win vs our team the same way. We had my Locust, two Piranhas and XL Rifleman with armlock >___< and even more terrible aim than mine. All that vs your lone Flea. This mech is so damn hard to hit. Locusts,Piranhas, Commando - doable, but Flea with MASC and ECM is so twitchy and elusive, so I can't land a proper burn on it even with pulses let alone regular mediums or SRMs, it is a hard counter to my aiming skills :}

As a Flea pilot, I commend your work. Great match.

Didnt see anything wrong with what you did. You did exactly what I would've done especially the fact your in a light and they have good chances finishing targets off in the long run. With a score at 6-11 and being able to turn it around is a good thing. You kept the team from doubling you and kept it at a 1 at a time 1 method. Most pilots would do that if the odds are against them. Good Job.

I had something similar to that happen on HPG and it was 7-11 and was able to turn it around and won it. Another on mining collective awhile back and that one had an 8-11 score, got an 8 kill streak, last mech standing, and won it. The last 4 mechs were LRM boats and they had Zero Energy Weapons so I was able to cut them down 1 by 1 with ease. Yes I was in a light in those matches. In a Wolfhound 1A.

legit light skirmishing tactics, nice positioning. They were just mad they couldn't get you and probably thought you were avoiding contact, which you clearly weren't

Fight as hard and as long as you can, until the fight finally claims you .
Sounds like a rethoric question to me, Lethe, if I´m being honest .

I seriously can't believe 4 Light mechs alive by the end of the match alone, but non of them were aiming at Flea's leg?... Really?

Thank you guys. Im glad to see that most of mechwarriors are not angry for these tactics/actions. Sure, i know that harassers(as mech archetype) are very annoying and usually pilots pissed off because of such actions. But hey, thats their job - to distract, bother and lure enemy mechs.

I can not agree. That commando was good, and almost got my legs(i have dodged only 3 volleys or so) but i think he was too "greedy" when followed me with cherry red xl left st and didnt twist to the right side. Rest of the lights were mauled and cored.

Totally agree, we think one way.

Yea! That was another last stand fight, where i was lucky twice: 1-caught shadow cat on repositioning and busted him fast 2-caught your locust at corner and cored it(i start record just after dead allies asked me to go and die, so you can watch it down below spoiler). You are right, flea has superior agility(with MASC) and can dodge some strikes/do hard predictable movements, but also kinda bad hitboxes(especially really big CT).

The first time I ever saw a player get Ace of Spades was similar to that. Skirmish in Crimson... 4-11. Last one standing on our team was a Shadow Cat with 2 LL. He basically ran around the island on the 3 line, the city in the G line, and the docks on the 5 line and picked apart the whole enemy team.

As for your tactics, good job!. If you can consistently bring up the rear like that, who cares that you're a late bloomer in the match.

If you're actively trying to win the match, or even just get one more kill, then I'm more than happy for you to run around as long as you like.

Yeah, this fight! I remember being extremely salty by the end of this match. I knew where you were hiding and was asking for help repeatedly, but only one Piranha came (I didn't know that the other one was legged). Extremely good job, sir! <0

Because of jumps. Sure, most of time i dont need it, but for hard ones this arrow helps much. If you are not trying to troll me and really interested, you can go check practice videos on my channel(made them when played jumpjuice mechs almost exclusively, not gonna post here as offtopic)
