I am just wondering, because I feel it is something that is coming up more often.

Do you ignore it? Berate them? Report them?

I see a few of those every day I play and I am getting tired of it.

Ordinary salt? Have a laugh and ignore it.

Berating teammates? In-game report menu.

Use of slurs, bigotry, above-and-beyond-normal gamer toxicity? Screenshot and email to PGI.

Does the ingame report menu even do anything?

No idea. Only time I saw support do anything against somebody was when I told a guy to get realistic when he whitknighted PGI with their latest "yes we hear the sorrows of our paying community and try to do something" pretend.
Got forum banned for some day.

Otherwise there was and is lots of provokation, trashtalk, belitteling and uncalled for git gud talk all over the place, ingame and in forum.

The more reports a player gets the more likely something would happen so the more over the line it is, the more likely players will all report him.

Nothing at all.

Unless they're name calling me.

Then if they're namecalling me and on the other team, I like to troll them by breaking their leg, disarming them, and basking in the salty tears.

If they're namecalling and on my team, pretty much do nothing unless they keep appearing in my matches.

You can of course mute the chat of any specific player you want from the tab screen.

I only report it if they're taking it too far and moreover ruining my experience with their BS. Otherwise it's a 5 minute match on average with nearly random people. So I move on with my life.
