I've got 2 now. The first was a resounding disappointment of decals and an engine. The second had a lump of coal... like, literally, a lump a digital coal.

It also had 10000gxp and a C-LB20x though so it wasn't a total loss.

Finally! After 30 various the 31st was an Ultra rare.

Out of all the commons, uncommons, rares and ultra rares since they did away with the keys, i've had ZERO MC out of any of them, zero warhorns, zero mech bays, and only weapons, decals, and useless cockpit items like dreamcatchers and faction banners.

The yellow banner says so but when you open it, it's far from looking like an Ultra Rare. Like you see above, even if it is called an Ultra Rare there was no yellow banner in mine.

Do you have to get a certain number of supply caches and preserve them before you get an Ultra Rare one? 'Cause I keep opening the common and uncommon ones that moment I get them.

No, they just come along randomly. I think it's just on a percentage system - perhaps something like 5% (1 in 20) is ultra rare, give or take a bit.

played a bit of World of Warships, you get crates like crazy, sometimes you get crap but you always have a chance of winning some decent consumables and even a ship

But regardless of that answer, I was asking the question about the ultra rare caches under the premise that perhaps the ultra rare ones were only given or were perhaps somehow influenced by Solaris play. I have recieved ~80 caches from GQ play but have never yet recieved an Ultra Rare cache, so I thought perhaps one needed to play Solaris or some other mode in order to qualify or encourage their percentage. Whatever.

Yes, there are separate caches to be gained from leveling up in the several Solaris VII divisions. And no, the ultra-rare caches don't have anything to do with it.
