Definitely server related. I ran the repair tool and nothing - did an uninstall and a reinstall. I'm downloading the client @500kb/s haha

EDIT:

I wonder if they will revisit hosting the patch files on Torrent so the community can help with these things.

I'm having the same issue on Blizzard's launcher too actually. Could be a node

Same here.

Just closed it out and restarted, now doing a bout 1MB every 45 seconds or so. Timer is up to almost 2 hrs remaining (and still climbing) with 165 MB done.

Never seen this sort of thing before.

Huh.... Not sure what the issue could be. I used my VPN and ran through Las Vegas I didnt have any issues, and then went through Chicago and I have no issues. Are you all on the east coast?

I just checked and Level 3 (backbone service for long haul internet) is experiencing general outages right now. Affecting everything in North and South America.

Been at this for a couple hours with restarts n such. Bouncing between 13-16hr eta... wee

I'm sure a small bit is my wonky spike prone internet but this speed is painfully slow. At least i can stream shows while waiting.

Edit: So the download speed suddenly increased greatly and it was done about 25 min after my original post. Unfortunately I decided to try a new wireless card and lost was unable to connect to the net before bed. :P Just wanted to clarify it wasn't as bad as it originally seemed.

also, yay two unexpected free mechs just showed up in my inventory!
