I keep getting a can't connect to steam error, was working earlier but seams like not now. I have no other connection issues that i can see. (aka can connect to other game portals)
anyone else having this issue? Or is it just me and i need to dig deeper?

Check again. Steam goes down pretty regularly more maintenance, its up now.

interesting, I've been using steam for 5+ years now and never had that issue. Every other time it's been cause my internet was down. I guess i have just been lucky
It did come back, about 3 hours later, not a big deal, but thanks for the confirmation.
