Simplify Objectives : Fill Friendly Bar

The current objectives are :
- Dominion : Reduce friendly timer to 00:00
- Conquest : Raise friendly counter to 750 points
- Assault : Reduce enemy bar to 0%. Kills win.
- Skirmish : No bar
- Defend VIP : Friendly VIP reaches dropship
- Attack VIP : Destroy enemy VIP
- Incursion : Reduce enemy bar to 0%

I suggest replacing all that with a single objective : Fill the friendly bar.

Objectives :
- Dominion : Fill friendly bar with Dominion cap
- Conquest : Fill friendly bar with 750 points
- Assault : Fill friendly bar with 100% enemy base cap. Biggest bar wins.
- Skirmish : Fill friendly bar with 12 enemy kills
- Defend VIP : Fill friendly bar with friendly VIP distance traveled
- Attack VIP : Fill friendly bar with enemy VIP damage%
- Incursion : Fill friendly bar with percentage of damage to enemy base

Reason : To make it easier for players to focus on the mission's objective.

Hi there... Your idea might work in it's entirety for people playing something like the "Destiny"-series of games, but not so much with MechWarrior Online. We could add Filling Meters alongside the Counters and/or Health Meters for modes like Skirmish/Dominion/Conquest/'Defend VIP', indicating progression of a team towards their goal. Complete replacement however would be far too confusing for many who use the number indicators to track the situation in a Match, particularly those in Dominion who understand better by who's further towards zeroing their Time Remaining. :huh:

Unfortunately, the other ones would just be downright confusing, as they're actually meant to be Health Meters in essence. The ones for Incursion/'Attack VIP'/Assault are meant to indicate remaining strength of a Target/Base, which is something you're supposed to drain to zero. A meter that filled would literally be the downright reverse here. Also, the 'VIP Health' in the 'Attack VIP' Game Mode is NOT meant to be known to the Attacking Team at any time UNLESS you've taken the time to Lock Target. Otherwise for some, they wouldn't learn to use their Target Lock key that's literally sitting in front of them, and I remember Captain Adams trying to teach people on how to understand and make use of that thing. We should NOT negate the limited effort which PGI put into the Tutorial. :(
