Been over a year... Glad to be home.

What in the heck have I missed?

Not much - mostly PGI standard issue tweaks, few mechs here and there, clan light called Piranha became the most hated mech by assaults......uh.....hmmm.......thats all I suppose? Welcome back to the boat that dosnt really rock, no pun.

They raised dissipation and lowered heat cap. But they didn't lower the heat cap as much as the PTS did. So some people question whether it really achieved what it was meant to. Others argue it changed the game from highest alpha possible to more DPS focused. I unnno. I haven't been playing as much of late. But I keep up with whatever the community is punting around.

Been having a fair bit of fun. It's similar to but not as punishing as the first year.

Beyond that recent change. One decent but bleh map. Neat idea but nonsense, fighting in Solaris city seems pretty far fetched outside of a car chase. There is the Solaris arena mode but sadly can't even call those new maps as many are just things we already had in private matches for 2 years with textures and decorations.

Some new mechs.

Here's to hoping for a lack of microtransactions on MW5 mercs.

Also not sure why so many assaults cry about Piranhas. A little rear armor gives plenty of time to react and slay them.

P.S. Quickplay is 72.6% "Nascar" now when you add in all the possible maps and all the possible matches.

But a lot of most played matches are almost 97.2% Nascar.

But that is Quickplay so.....
