The SNV-1 has been used every bit as much as the SNV-C for ERLL; for control plays, the mounts don't mean as much and the all-arm weapons are indespe for dealing with any Lights that might try to get you. It does not NEED this quirk.

The SNV is not gimpy even now, and would have ridiculous staying-power when running a power position if it could fire 3+3 without ghost heat. It neither needs nor deserves that buff, and you will hate getting lasered from 1000 meters away without any pause on maps like Grim Plexus.


By that definition, I'm not sure I'd qualify the KCrab as gimpy either. Of the 14 or so IS assaults,there's maybe 3 or 4 of them I'd actually qualify as notably better. I'd qualify it as middle of the pack, with actual bad mechs like the Highlander, Zeus, Banshee, and maybe Atlas bringing up the junk-tier IS assaults. When considering just how juicy a 55 or 60 PPFLD PPC+AC20 crab would be, I kind of doubt it will be coming anytime soon.

Not that the SNV is crap tier either - It isn't. Its only falling is that, just like the king crab, it has one or two other mechs that overshadow it.
