Suggestions (to prevent new players from rage quitting) :

- Do not allow players Tier2 and lower players to bring Trial mechs in Faction Play, for their own good.

- Do not allow Tier2 and lower players, to Faction Play against Tier1 groups.

- If possible give Tier1 players their own FP queue, that lower Tier players can't join.

- Perhaps limit Tier2 and lower players to 8vs8 FP only, with the full 12vs12 mode unlocking only after they reach Tier1.

- Maybe remove group creation from 8vs8 FP, and leave group creation only as a 12vs12 Tier1 feature, to prevent Tier1 players from creating 8 player groups to level up their secondary account(s).

The general idea, is to protect new MWO players from Tier1 players.

lol because the fp queues are already not barren enough.

the entire mode needs to be killed and rebuilt from scratch if pgi hopes to salvage it.

I'm suggesting FP doesn't attract new players, because the moment they try out FP those new players are getting hunted to extinction by Tier1 12-man groups.

And the faster those new players get chased out, the less likely the next new players are to find a single match against other new players.

So by separating Tier1 players from the other Tiers, the idea is to give those new players a taste of what FP feels like, when they're not being farmed to extinction by highly organized deck matched 12-man groups the moment they put their foot in it...

Which is something that killing and rebuilding the entire game mode from scratch ten times over won't do.

As as a last resort, "solo" Tier1 players could be included in either queue as needed to fill the holes : Either included in the low Tier queue that has no Tier1 groups in it, or included in the Tier1 queue that has all the Tier1 groups in it.

all you are doing is adding extra steps (creating a separate fp account) to end up at the same end result

no it's not... at best you are putting in more effort to get the exact same end result and at worst you now have extra effort and split the queue even more. this idea does nothing to solve the problem

When they're busy climbing up the steps, they're not using maxed out matching decks like they are now.

And once they zoom through to Tier1, they are the ones, back to their starting point : Time for them to create another account from scratch.

How is that not better then what we have now ?

i'm t4 and have 23 maxed out mechs... maxing a mech does not take long yet it takes a good deal of time to get to T1 particularly when you are trying not to

Number one: MORE granular tiers.
Tier 1 should maybe be 100 guys AT MOST!
Middle 2 and 4 big but not as big as tier 3 (meat and potatoes)
Tier 5 pretty much new accounts.
Number 2
ZERO SUM
Why? Just because I owned this game for six years doesn't make me tier 1.
Number 3 (most Important)
LESS BUCKETS. We don't need more closed off option because people don't want to run with the new guys. (Elitist prigs)
