Upgraded from nvdia 560ti 2gb to ati 580 8gb.

At all low settings, the 580 seems to stutter more during brawling situations than then 560ti. What gives?

Definitely more fps during static situations but when more mechs enter the field of view, it starts to lag way more than the old card.

Have even set the fan speed at 100%.

Anyone encountering the same?

System power settings to to High Performance?]

PSU, brand model and rating? GPU might be choking for power.

Heatsink on CPU clear of dust buildup?

What is System configuration?

Were the Nividia drivers completely removed?

Delete your shader cache, the MWO will make a new cache more suitable to your new card IMO

Try it

Sorry for the late reply guys. I've been sucked into the ED universe with all my settings on ultra and high fps. I regret not having a 144hz monitor. Don't think I'd be back anytime soon except for events.

Thanks for your suggestions anyway.

Just an update guys, I've upgraded to 16gb ram from 8gb ram and it seemed to have solved my stuttering issues. Still playing on all low though.

Strange.

Im on an i5-3570K + RX 580 and I have fairly solid 60 FPS @ full HD.

Im using a RX 580 8GB too, try turning Shadows and Particles on low. these two options seems to kill your framerate, especially in longer games (Faction Play e.g.) and brawling situations. Im having a 72Hz Freesync Monitor and it runs smooth
