Yep, you can see cool things from time to time. For example, the LT also has 3 missile points modeled and available even though no variants today uses all 3 (just the RT).

The head looks like it's pushed further in than the concept art, making it that much more similar to the Kodiak than it already was (already copypastes the legs).

I definitely like the concept art on the order page better. This one appears bulkier and boxier (particularly in shoulders as noted) which isn't good. It also looks like you'll be able to hit the opposite front side torso unless the mech is almost perfectly facing 90 deg away.

Not enough to make me cancel an order, but a step back from the slick concept art.

Like every other Mech they've done, ever. But I guess that's the tradeoff for having modular Mechs.

I'm still hung up on the fact that this guy doesn't have ballistic hardpoints that's not paywalled. I mean i get that there's plenty of clan mechs that does that, but if they're going to try and appeal to our meta sensibilities by putting out an IIC of a respectable IS mech, they should at least go all the way.

Sure, the laser vomit from these things could probably be divine, but I like options.

The new variant will not be paywalled, and is essentially a scorch.

While I'm glad we're getting this variant, it bothers me that it wasn't in the reinforcement pack to begin with. I mean, did we really need additional all energy variants to go with an all energy primary pack (minus the 5xMissile Hardpoint one)? From a value and variety standpoint, the pack just wasn't there. That, and the GAR already does massed lasers. We needed ballistics to really make the WHM stand out, and with previously only the hero having them was... no bueno.

The ballistic armed one, though? I'd predict it will be a better mech than the hero at the whole brawling thing. The Preorder hero will be a better DPS configuration mech (can mechlab a 21 DPS configuration, for frik's sake) with a ton of build flexibility. As for the free one? I have no earthly idea what it can do that the others don't do better, except hopjet.

Squeeze down the shoulders down a bit and enlarge the head a tad bit and that thing be good to go.

Forgot to add that the model is in orthographic view so that might be the reason why shoulders appear bulkier than how they will probably end up in game.

The mech looks great, and I'm looking forward to buying the 4 x Missile hardpoint version for cbills..

The head is a bit lower than the art tho.. they should make it a tiny bit higher..

Also, either shorten, or completely remove the handle bars on the arms.. they shouldn't stick out so much..
